why I love...
Here are 2 examples of why I adore Robert Lance Jewelers! The craftsmanship is impeccable and you can't beat his pricing. These 2 beautiful custom-made rings are part of my wedding ring set and go wonderfully with my antique engagement ring and wedding band. cutest little studs
Figs + Ginger's stud earrings are as cute as cute can be! I love their child-like whimsy. And if you are having a hard time choosing your favorite, don't worry, they are only $25 a pair! (p.s. I am also totally enamored with their lovebirds necklace!)

everyday diamonds
Persimmon is one of my favorite jewelry sites which offers an array of designs by different designers (seriously... it seems like this site was created just for me!). Right now, I am obsessing over Mizuki's bezel set diamond necklace. I so want to be the kind of girl that can wear a diamond necklace everyday!

boardwalk empire
I am super excited about the start of Season 2 of Boardwalk Empire in September. The show is visually stunning to say the least! I found this old Vanity Fair photo shoot of the ladies of Boardwalk Empire and just got a little more excited for new episodes. Can't wait!

all in the details
Loving this necklace by Kiersten Crowley. The layered tiers make quite an impact while the small details maintain a pure simplicity. I love the organic hand wrought feel of each of Crowley's pieces.

the greatest wedding ring set EVER
Stumbled across these rings online. Artist Luke Jerram created both of these rings for his wife, Shelina. The top ring is his wife's engagement ring which is etched with a recorded message of Luke's actual proposal and can be played back on a miniature record player. The bottom ring is his wife's wedding band which projects family photographs when held up to a light source. How unbelievably heart felt!

gothic glamour
Oh, mama! Loving this ring by Cathy Waterman! I love how it combines the traditional with the unexpected. (No wonder it is sold out at Barneys!)

aqua ombre
Combined two of my loves... ombre and aqua! Creating an ombre with stones was not as easy as I had thought... I kept having to restring stones to get the color gradation just right and in different light settings the colors can look completely different... but I am pretty happy that I was able to create this look with one type of stone. Aqua really has many beautiful hues!

zen waterfall
Just made these gold and oxidized silver earrings last night to go with my necklace and ring. I'm not a huge fan of jewelry "sets" but I love coordinating pieces. These 3 pieces work wonderfully together (without looking too much alike) but can stand on their own as well.

pride
That's one sexy ring! This beautiful stunner, titled Pride, is from Jessica McCormack's XIV collection. Each piece in the collection represents one of the 7 deadly sins or 7 heavenly virtues. That sounds like such as interesting design challenge! (P.S. Her bespoke commision pieces sound dreamy! P.P.S. The images on her blog are pretty outstanding as well.)

show me your rings
Yay! Villette Jewelry rings (as seen above) were featured on Show Me Your Rings on Gem Gossip! Love this blog! I feel like this blogger is a kindred spirit and her taste in antique and high end jewelry is pretty fantastic. Definitely one of my favorite regular reads.

perfect balance
Totally mesmerized by Todd Pownell's jewelry... I literally couldn't pick just one ring I loved to feature! His jewelry is both refined yet raw, feminine yet masculine. He has mastered complimentary contradictions. Love, love, LOVE!!!
