boyfriend watch
'Tis the season! As the holidays approach, I am starting to create my wishlist. On the top of my list is a beautiful gold boyfriend watch to stack with my bracelets. I held out a long time with my chunky leather watches, until one day my watch battery stopped and I unintentionally phased out watch wearing. And in the day and age when cell phones are like an extension of our hands, you would think watches would be obsolete, but I am craving one more than ever! Above are my top two choices from MVMT and Fossil.

antique watch necklace
I LOVE antique watches!!! I love the detailing and the number fonts are always spectacular (and I love using broken/ discarded ones in my own jewelry creations). This Art Deco watch necklace is unbelievably stunning! Now all I want to do is add a necklace version to my growing antique watch collection!

watching
I am in desperate need for some new watches.... both of mine recently died their final death. I wear a watch every day, in fact, my wrist feels naked without one, and I generally buy the same watch over and over again from the Fossil outlet (a chunky leather cuff watch in either brown or black). Although I will probably end up getting the same style again, I am starting to consider getting a wrap style watch too, just to shake things up. Here are 2 of my favorites.
I love the color options for the face and the leather is worn in just perfectly. (from Sundance.)
I love how old world this looks and I love that you can personalize the name plate. (Revolt70 on etsy.)

dream a little dream
Just for fun, here are some of my favorite finds online for diamond Art Deco jewelry. (A girl can dream can't she?!)
Love, love, love this piece with it's geometric shapes and that beautiful pear-shaped drop!
Another classic example of geometric pattern with the traditional diamond and sapphire combination.
Once upon a time, this was, in my mind, meant to be my engagement ring... until I realized it held almost a 2-carat center diamond (and never, in reality, would I want something that large). I fell in love with it for the design though... I love the tiny hidden emeralds!
As relatively easy as it is to find original 1920s diamond engagement rings, it does not mean it is equally as easy to find original 1920s diamond wedding bands. I searched high and low for one myself and settled for a different decade. This beauty would definitely be worth the investment. (If any of you know a secret source for original diamond antique wedding bands, let me know!)
Nothing is a greater find than a prime-condition antique watch!
