I can't stop thinking about Sarah Perlis's necklaces! And it seems that my obsession with diamonds has reached an all time high... as is evident from my posts for the last couple of months. I might need to take the plunge and start using diamonds in my own work. And the first place I would start is with a diamond slice or rough diamond necklace like Sarah Perlis's. When the stone is A-MA-ZING all you need is the simplest setting and let the stone speak for itself.

I just can't get enough of gold and oxidized silver! I am loving this necklace by Ten Thousand Things. It would be a great piece to layer with other necklaces but is amazing enough to stand on it's own.

Anthropologie's new wedding brand, BHLDN (pronounced "Beholden"), launched today. Even if you aren't planning your own nuptials, their accessories and event dresses are worthy of a perusal. I especially love their 5-strand necklace.

I took one of my coworkers to Halloween today and, needless to say, she is now hooked! This jewelry store really is amazing. And now my search is over for a wear-everyday, marcasite bracelet. Welcome to my wrist, beautiful bracelet!

I have been buying a lot of vintage watches lately to make my watchcase lockets but I have found that with about every 5 watches I buy, 1 makes it's way into my jewelry box. Some are just so beautiful, I cannot bare to part with them. I have quite the collection forming. So now this beauty is being worn as a bracelet... who cares if it doesn't work?!

I have been looking for a pair of exaggerated, elongated marquise-shaped earrings (I mean, I want them to almost graze my shoulder!). I love the mix of silver and gold and the different textures of these earrings.

JKarma trunk show

I was quite flattered to find that JKarma featured me on their blog today! Villette Jewelry will be participating in JKarma's Shoes and Booze trunk show on Friday, February 18th from 5-9pm. JKarma Boutique is located at 62 N. 3rd St., between Market and Arch St. in Philadelphia. I'll have some of my classic designs available as well as some new stuff. JKarma will be offering a ton of discounted products (we're talking shoes, purses, jewelry) AND drinks while you shop... what more could a girl ask for?!
