GIA certificate. (Second runner up, to learn more about designing fine jewelry.) If money weren't an issue and there were more than 24 hours in a day, I'd have gone back to school 5 times over by now. But of late, I have found myself desiring more and more to be surrounded in a world of jewelry. I love reading about jewelry and teaching myself as much as I can, but as intimidating as it might be, I think it's time to take the plunge and learn a lot more technical jewelry skills. But fitting this in with the job I already have (and love) and focusing on my family, is very daunting.

first knuckle ring trend. I used to wear rings like this back in high school and as soon as I saw this picture I got excited all over again. Gem Gossip had the awesome idea of wearing antique baby rings. It feels like a sophisticated take on this hot jewelry trend! I'd love to find a delicately engraved gold ring for my pointer finger. (If you aren't into an ornate or antique ring, Catbird has a lovely collection of the daintiest first knuckle rings!)

camphor glass pendant. I am shocked I don't already own one of these beauties. I love the sunburst design in the frosted glass... it almost looks like folds in sheer silk... and it looks oh so romantic with the filigree. The shapes I have seen online are stunning as well... square, rectangle, oval, circle, marquise, teardrop... all amazing!

this ring on ebay last night. Totally heartbroken! So the obsessive search for an antique platinum and yellow gold ring continues. Like goldie locks, I am looking for something juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust right. Sadly, all the rings I have found in my search have already sold. But let's take a moment to admire their beauty...
