dragonfly

Talk about a roundabout way to be inspired, but here goes... the other day, my daughter wanted us to apply fake tattoos to her arms and ours.  I asked her to pick out one for mommy and she picked a dragonfly.  Not an insect I normally gravitate towards, but for a week I had to look at this dragonfly tattoo on my forearm, and actually started to really like it.  I started looking up dragonflies and of course, I started to fall in love with Art Nouveau jewelry featuring this beautiful insect.  Now I am hooked!  (And am even considering adding one to my sleeve tattoo design, whenever that ends up happening!)
